She holds the NCFED Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders & Obesity award & has trained in Childhood Eating Disorders & Obesity. She is an experienced nutritionist working with mild mental health issues, addictions, eating disorders, especially Binge & Compulsive Overeating, non- critical Anorexia & Bulimia. Ilona also helps people with stubborn weight issues.
Danielle is a qualified Integrative therapist & has an Msc. in Addiction Psychology & Counselling as well as certificates in attachment based couples counselling. Danielle holds the NCfED Practitioner Diploma in Eating Disorders, specialising in anorexia, bulimia & binge eating. She provides a confidential & supportive space to help facilitate positive changes & recovery from emotional, habitual & chaotic eating patterns. Danielle works with issues such as low self-esteem, body image, compulsive eating, stress, anxiety, addictions, depression & relationship issues. She provides a safe setting in which to explore feelings & beliefs around food & body image & work towards restoring a balanced & healthy attitude to oneself & eating. Amanda is an experienced BACP registered counsellor & clinical hypnotherapist with a special interest in working with eating disorders, obesity, food & eating issues, body image & body dysmorphia in males & females aged 13 & above. She is also trained & experienced in working with a wide range of mental health issues.
Annie is an experienced counsellor with a Master Practitioner from NCFED & a BSc(Hons) in Psychology. Annie is currently practising in North & East Dorset, specialising in obesity issues & weight loss therapy, using a combination of nutritional advice & counselling techniques.
Laura has no formal Accredited psychotherapy qualifications, but she has passed the NCFED Practitioner Diploma for working with eating disorders. Laura is currently undertaking an accredited Level 2 counselling skills course. She has experience with coaching & mentoring eating disorder sufferers & helping people with poor body image & low self worth. Due to Laura’s recovery from anorexia, she has a deep insight into the recovery process & is acutely aware of how scary it can be to change. She offers a warm setting to explore feelings, beliefs & attitudes to food, weight & body image, empowering you to positively work towards regaining a healthy balanced relationship with food & an enjoyable life thereafter.
Vanessa is a Chartered Health Psychologist & is on the British Psychological Society Register of Coaching Psychologists. She also has a BSc(Hons) Fitness & Health and our Master Practitioner award in Eating Disorders and Obesity. She uses a range of therapeutic approaches & has been trained in nutritional rehabilitation to support emotional change & help each person find their way to develop a more positive relationship with food. Vanessa strives to build a trusting relationship, to understand your story & help you to make sense of what is keeping you stuck. In this way she will guide you toward the most effective way to improve your well-being & get more out of life.
Jane has extensive experience in working with eating disorders, addiction, phobias, anxiety & depression & will design a holistic programme suited to the individual. Jane can work with children 12 years & over. She is a trained Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming as well as being a Psychotherapist, Clinical Hypnotherapist & Homeopath. She also has specialist training in Abuse -Physical, Emotional & Sexual.
Jane is a Health Psychologist and a registered Practising Psychologist with the HCPC. She has specialist training for working with people with eating disorders & is happy to see adults with any kind of eating related problem. She also specialises in working with people with diabetes, CFS/ME & other long-term conditions & also people effected by trauma.
Her work can be done in person or via the telephone. She usually has daytime &evening appointments available during the week and also at weekends
